Lenovo has launched its new midrange smartphone, VIBE S1 in India. The phone will be sold exclusively via the e-commerce giant Amazon.
The Vibe S1 is a midrange smartphone, with a metal frame and Gorilla Glass on the front and back. For the most part, it resembles and will be a great competitor to the recently launched OnePlus X.
The Vibe S1 sports a 5.0-inch 1080p Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 441 ppi. It is powered by the MediaTek MT6752 processor. To be precise, it is an Octa-Core processor which clocks at 1.7 GHz coupled with the Mali-T760MP2 GPU. It features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage. However, the storage can be expanded upto 128 GB. The 13 megapixel rear camera and the 8 megapixel front camera with 2 megapixel secondary depth sensor are definitely something to watch out for. It supports dual SIM, LTE. All this is powered by a 2420mAh battery. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Lenovo’s VIBE UI on top.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 will be available in the white and blue variants for a very competitive price of INR 15,999 ($240).
